We have contacted with your support recently with a question about a possibility to have one user type with both functionalities. They said that is doable and they can even change code a little to make it easier for us. As far as we know an employer account can post a job as well as bid an existing project, so maybe that is a correct solution for our problem. What are possible drawbacks of that idea?
