At this moment, you can use the credit(virtual) system for escrow.
Regarding #2. I don’t think so. Employer must deposit to hire a freelancer.
3) First, make sure you are using a Business Paypal account then go to this section to set your PayPal account: https://wpfreelance.boxthemes.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=box-settings&section=payment_gateways
Next step is go to this section:https://wpfreelance.boxthemes.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=box-settings&section=currency_package and insert in package in Member ship plan section.
#4) You also insert deposit credit package in this section https://wpfreelance.boxthemes.net/wp-admin/admin.php?page=box-settings&section=currency_package

Yes, The theme supports 2 roles and register have to choose one role.
