I know this because I recently dealt with this myself.
Go to your website then click Customize. Go to Menus. You should have a menu labeled “Header” in there already, but if not, then Create New Menu and set that menu to Top Menu. After this, you’ll be able to Add items, or the pages you want to add.
The banner setup will be in [box] Banner image. One step that might not have been setup is in Customize > Homepage Settings; in this section, go to Homepage and set that to your page that is setup with the Front page template.
I asked Box for help and they setup the page for me. I might suggest doing the same thing if these steps don’t work.
Can technical support setup my site to look like and function like the demo site?
I just added the below email as an adminstrator to the site. The below email should’ve received a notification email, but I will send another one just in case.
Disregard question about uploading banner, I was able to figure this out based on earlier posts. Note that the name for the homepage template has changed from “Landing Page 1” to “Front Page”.
I follow this path: Appearance > Customize > [box] Banner Image > Main Image
When I “Select Image”, nothing changes, even after I click publish. There is no banner image, in fact.
I should also note that after I activated the WPFreelance theme, I really don’t see any change to my site at all. Nothing has changed, nothing has been uplaoded. None of the pages, widgets, banners, nothing. There’s nothing.
Can Boxthemes set this up? Because right now, there’s no website for me to peruse or change.
