Steps to Rereate:
1. login as an employer
2. Buy credit (I used paypal sandbox account)
3. Once the confirmation pag is displayed, go to My Credits page
Expected:
The recently paid credit should be reflected on my credits page
Actual:
The credit remains 0

I have checked in our demo site and it works properly. It might be caused by your paypal account setting.
Please follow this step – it might help you solve this.
Log into your PayPal.com => Profile => Selling Tool => Website Payment Preferences =>
and enable (on) these options:
1) Payment Data Transfer (optional)
2) PayPal Account Optional
3) Express Checkout Settings
